The terms that apply when you purchase products from Groove Records.

1. About us
Groove Records is operated by Groove Records. Contact us at [email protected]. Our correspondence address is 25 Lime Tree Mews, Dunnington, York, YO19 5SD. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
2. Products and availability
We take reasonable care to describe products and editions accurately. Packaging, colour and pressing appearance may vary slightly, particularly for coloured, transparent or splatter vinyl. All orders are subject to availability and any stated per-customer purchase limit.
3. Orders, VAT and payment
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation after successful payment. Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Prices for UK delivery include VAT at the applicable rate. For qualifying exports delivered outside the UK, UK VAT is removed and the supply is treated as zero-rated, subject to Groove Records retaining the required export evidence. Delivery charges receive the same VAT treatment as the goods. Delivery charges and the final net, VAT and gross totals are displayed before payment. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full card details.
4. Pre-orders
Pre-order release and expected shipping dates are estimates and may change because of manufacturing or distribution delays. Orders containing pre-order and in-stock items ship together when every item is ready; we do not split shipments. You may use the Help contact form to cancel an unshipped pre-order, subject to any mandatory rights and any refund processing already underway.
5. Delivery
Current destinations, restrictions, services and indicative charges are published on the Shipping & Delivery page.
We dispatch to the delivery address you provide using the service shown at checkout. Estimated delivery times are not guarantees. Unless we agree another timeframe with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the period required by law. Please use the Help contact form promptly if a parcel is delayed, damaged or missing.
6. Cancellation and returns
If you are a consumer buying online, you can normally cancel from the date of the order until 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Tell us clearly using the Help contact form, then return the goods within 14 days of cancellation. Unless the item is faulty or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct return cost.
We will refund eligible payments, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back. We may make a lawful deduction where handling has reduced the value. Statutory exceptions apply, including to sealed audio recordings once unsealed.
7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Contact us with your order number and suitable evidence. We will provide the remedy required by consumer law, which may include replacement, repair, price reduction or refund. Nothing in these terms limits rights relating to goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
8. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Bank and card processing times are outside our control. We may cancel and refund an order affected by a pricing error, unavailable stock, suspected fraud or an address we cannot serve.
9. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Consumers retain all mandatory legal protections. We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable or for business loss arising from a consumer purchase.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may also bring proceedings in their local courts. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.
11. Changes
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms in force when your order is placed will apply to that order.
12. Membership
Groove Records Membership is also subject to the Membership Terms of Service.
